For months, we’ve been quietly building something huge behind the scenes… And today, we’re finally ready to share it.
Sea Trials now includes full offline access to the Chat Genie — your personal study expert, available anywhere, even with no internet connection.
Whether you’re offshore, underway, in a shipyard with bad service, or just in a dead-zone on land, you can now ask questions, break down problems, and get expert guidance instantly. No signal required.
📱 Update Your App to Get It
To use the new offline chatbot, simply update to the latest version of Sea Trials on either iOS or Android. After updating, the Chat Genie will automatically download what it needs in the background so it's ready whenever you are.
⚡ Why This Matters
We’re the first in the maritime study space — and honestly one of the first in the entire ed-tech world — to offer a high-quality offline AI tutor built specifically around USCG license exams.
This has taken months of engineering, optimization, and testing to get right. It’s been a massive lift, and we’re incredibly proud to be pushing the boundaries of what’s possible for mariners.
Sea Trials has always been about being ahead of the curve, and this feature is another step in that direction.
⭐ Who Gets Access?
Everyone with a Premium membership or anyone currently in a free trial now has full access to the offline Chat Genie. No add-ons. No extra steps.
Just update and go.
💬 A Message from Alex, Founder of Sea Trials
“Our mission has always been simple: give mariners the absolute best study tools possible — fast, accurate, and accessible anywhere. Offshore internet shouldn’t limit your ability to prepare for your future. This is a major milestone for us, and I hope you enjoy using it as much as we enjoyed building it.”
💙 Thank You
Your support, feedback, and trust fuel every improvement we make. We’re committed to constant progress and pushing the level of quality that mariners deserve.
More updates — and more big features — are coming soon.
Stay safe out there, and happy studying.
