The Coast Guard's 2027 sample exams are out, and Sea Trials is ready for them.
We went through every exam and every question, one at a time. What came out the other side is the best Sea Trials we've ever made, with more questions, more illustrated questions and more complete modules than any version before it.
Here's what's new.
The Coast Guard reprints many of the same questions every year, often with new wording or shuffled answer choices.
We keep up with all of it. Every reprint is matched to the question you already know and updated to the newest wording, and we track every change the Coast Guard makes.
So you study each question once, in its latest form.
All 225 chart plots, including 27 new for 2027, play step by step. Every step has a fresh hint and explanation, so you learn the plot one move at a time.

Thank you to everyone who has supported Sea Trials over the years. It takes a crew, and you're it.
More and more, the Coast Guard tests from internal questions it never releases. No one has them: not us, not the schools, not any other app. The only way to close that gap is together.
After your exam, send us your module code and whatever you remember: wording, numbers, answer choices. Half a question still helps.
Please don't send photos or screenshots. Exam content is protected by law, but memory reports are completely legal.
Send what you remember to support@seatrials.net.
When I was studying for my own license exams between voyages, I wanted a study app that came with me. Out at sea with no signal. On a plane. At the kitchen table. Same questions, same progress, wherever I was.
So we built it, and we tried something I haven't seen anyone else in mariner exam prep do. Download your library once, and the Sea Trials apps work fully offline: every question, every illustration, every reference PDF. When you're back online, everything syncs.
Plenty of apps, even from the biggest names in tech, stop working the moment you lose signal. Sea Trials keeps going.
And there's an app for every device: iPhone and iPad, Android, Mac, Windows, and the web.
Here's everything you get, better than ever:
This is the best Sea Trials yet, and we're just getting started.
Fair winds on your exam.
